PSD to HTML Coding by markup-service.com

Markup-service.comI recently had the opportunity to try out Markup-service.com for my PSD to HTML coding project. There are hundreds of companies offering such services, and nevertheless it’s hard to find a professional one you could really hire. I thought it would be useful to share my experience with Markup-Service here, so that readers can get a better idea of what working with such services is like.

What They Offer

Markup-Service takes your design files in PSD, PNG or any other graphic format and converts them into XHTML/CSS code. They also provide CMS implementation and PSD to Email Template coding services. I liked that their examples page let you view HTML and CSS samples. This kind of gives you a better understanding of what to expect from them.

How It Works

Ordering is easy. Select the package, add the options you need, attach your designs and post additional requirements in the notes section. The estimated cost and delivery time of your project is displayed at the bottom of the order page.

Once I submitted the order, I received the email with credentials to the Client Area. My project manager contacted me shortly and asked some clarifications regarding fonts and JS effects. With that discussed, developers started working on my project.

Results

I received the final files the next day. As you can see the code is pretty neat. Classes are logically named and there is no mess. It could be a bit shortened though. Some selectors start with IDs, but it’s quite suitable in this case and does not effect styles flexibility and selector reuse.

Overall markup is well-balanced and semantic. Just check it out:

Here’s how it looks in the browser:

I enjoyed working with these guys! They are fast and provide quality PSD to HTML services.

Markup-Service will certainly come in handy for you
• if you prefer designing rather than coding.
• if you lack technical knowledge in this area.
• if you are short on time and cannot complete the project yourself.
